Graphics made to bring us back to the 2000’s

A friend of mine approached me with a brief: can you create a few graphics for my streetwear/skiwear brand that takes inspiration from the late 90’s/early 2000’s? And that ‘s what I delivered. The process started with discussions getting to know the brand and its story. From there, I developed some language around the brand’s mission and explored some production styles and options that exemplified the time period we wanted the graphics to fit into. The jacquard skull beanie was the genesis point that the rest of the graphics spawned from, with the Mission graphic expanding on that brand story. The collaboration graphic was based off the HUD’s of video games from the turn of the century, and the full print beanies drew on the zine culture and lo-res collaging energy of that space. The stained glass piece was tied more into that classic box logo that all brands have in some shape, but we wanted to add some sense of craft to that piece and landed on a stained glass appearance.
